Alzheimer’s & Memory Care

Caring for a loved one after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a similar dementia can be very overwhelming. Loved ones who may be the primary caregiver finds themselves struggling to balance the hurdles of caring for their loved one, work and also maintaining a healthy relationship. For loved ones living too far from their loved one, it can be just as difficult.

At Hannah’s Care Services, it is our goal to be the people whom you can turn to. We are dedicated to help bring you comfort and help lessen the burden of caring for your loved one in a number of ways.

Our Respite care program also known as (family caregiver relief program) allows the primary caregiver to get a break from both the physical and emotional stress of caring for a loved one. Our caregivers can assist once a week or once a month for as much time as one needs. This allows the primary caregiver the opportunity to shop, sleep, see a movie or spend time with other friends and family that may be feeling neglected. More importantly respite care allows the primary caregiver a chance to de-stress.

We understand loved ones may live at far distances which might make it impossible for attending to needs of      loved one, our team of caregivers can provide 24/7 assistance. This allows for the family to knowing that Mom or Dad is safe at home with somebody who can provide supervision and assist them with daily living tasks that may have become more difficult.

Our team ensures that your loved one is still part of the community and will help keep them engaged. Let us be your helpers while you are at work, over the weekends, nights, days, or anytime that you may need an extra set of hands for the care of your loved one.

Most seniors when talked to prefer to stay at home because of:

  • Familiar Surroundings – Their furniture, their friends, their pictures, their memories
  • Controlled environment
  • Same caregiver or caregivers
  • Routines that work for the client.
  • More focused one on one care allowing Mom or Dad to do as much as possible and remain as independent as possible.
